I am finally getting around to repainting my front door, and am trying to decide on a color.

the existing color is too army for my taste.

i don't know why but i am leaning toward a pale lavender



or what about a more calmed down green?

we're back

We are back from vacation. A week in the outer banks was just what i needed to get myself back on an even keel. Sprocket however, is sad that vacation is over. She misses chasing the sand crabs, i think.

moss mountain

we spent saturday night at moss vineyards, aka moss mountain, in charlottesville. apparently there was a raging thunderstorm, and a college keg party, but i slept thru it all....which is kind of scary.
